Frustrated Newbie

I'm not sure where to post this, but I need help. I cannot figure out how to post pictures. I'm sure once I get used to this site I'll be fine, but I find it confusing to navigate. Can anyone help me?

Do you have a Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket account?

 

If not, register for one (free) and upload your pics to that site.

 

Then, use the IMG code (the bottom one listed under each uploaded pic in your album) and copy and paste that code into the BDW area you are trying to post your pics.

 

Good Luck! It took me forever to figure out how to post pics when I first joined to! :-) You'll get the hang of it!

Thank you! What's weird is that I can get it on the threads, but it's coming up Invalid File when I try to add anything to my profile. Grrr...

 

At least I know how to do this now! Thanks again!

If you are trying to add it to your signature, under the profile portion, you do it the same way.

 

If you are trying to add pics to the Photo Gallery portion of your profile, I don't think that area is working...

To make it your siggy, go to usercp (its in the upper left corner.) Select edit signature. Paste the picture in your siggy the same way as you pasted it in this thread. Pretty easy.

When you copy the code from Photobucket, you have to insert the image by clicking on the yellow envelope looking thing that has a mountain and a stamp on it....lol...not really sure how else to describe it. It says "Insert Image" when you put your mouse on it. Anyway, insert the code into that then click ok.

welcome to the forum and photobucket is the best way to go to post pics and its free!!!! you will get the hang of it and then become addicted like the rest of us!
