That just totally cracked me up. I put so many different things on my face for various reasons I'm surprised anyone can still see skin!

I confess that I just stalked my moms wedding. A friend went with me. My mom and I are estranged and she is remarrying 10 months after my dad passed. So a friend and I went and sat in the parking lot across the street from the wedding chapel. When we pulled up I saw all my sisters cars there, one who said she would not be going.

So we sat there till they came out. Sure enough my sisters, BIL's and their kids were all there. And a few good friends of my dads were there to.

I dont know why I tortued myself. Or why I care. But now Im pissed about the whole thing. Its not like I want my sisters to not be there for her. They are my moms stepdaughters. But I guess they led me to believe that they were against this marriage, and to see them there kinda hurt. It would of been nice for them to be upfront about going, and to even maybe call and see how I was doing. Because Im doing really bad. And can only imagine how the 1 year anniversary of my dads passing will be in 2 months.

I'm sorry this is so hard for you. I wish they would have been upfront with you too. Maybe they just didn't know what to say. Or maybe they weren't going to go but decided at the last minute to go.

So, we are putting in our counter offer today. I hate to feel like I'm "making" him do something, but really this has to get done...
Kelly- Haven't heard any updates from you, how are things going with DH? I hope everything is going better.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
