Do I need to tell him ??The Best Man says no that hes too jealous and it would bother him if the tables were turned and it was his wife! HELP
I think you should tell him. DH and I have been down this road & believe me...it can lead to so many trust & honestly issues if he ever found out. Thank god we worked through it, but it was tough there for a while.

I agree that you should be honest with FI and tell him that he's a buddy on myspace, but if he's anything like mine, spare the details (he doesn't want to imagine you in that way). FI should accept your past, but he probably doesn't want to know what mr. best man may or may not have taught you :)
I'm a jealous girl, and as much as it irks me when one of FI's ex's call to see how he is, I'd rather know their history than if it were just some random girl.

I think it's okay to tell your FI that you knew/know his old best man, but if I were you, I wouldn't tell him any details--especially sexual ones! Trust me, guys really don't want to to know those things! Now, if he asks "did you date him" or anything specific, it's probably best to be honest. But if I were you, I'd only spill if asked.

I think this partially a product of PMS and work-related frustration, but I confess that it irks me to no end when people do nothing but complain as if they're the freaking kind and queen of the universe. BangHead.gif Nothing is ever perfect, so stop knit picking and just go with the flow!

I also get annoyed by newbies who don't follow forum etiquette -- not doing searches and posting the same topic over and over and over again, making it both redundant and I'm sure time consuming for the mods. :girl_werewolf.gif

Aaaahhh, yes this has to be PMS x 100 ~ sorry newbies, I know I'm being harsh and have done it myself, but damn it.... RTFM.gif

Marie- I am not sure who you mean, but this thread and the venting thread are meant to be safe outlets for people to vent on wedding frustrations. I found planning the wedding to be difficult, and without this board, I would have been totally alone. And venting here was great because other people in the same boat would be there to support things that those not having a DW wouldnt understand.

As far as the search functionality, I agree people shouldn't keep posting, but seaching threads is ridiculously hard. If you dont get the results you want you have to wait, and with common words like Wedding Coordinator, or Wedding Programs, you won't get concise results. I would rather us not get mad at Newbies, and just try to help them. If you are better at a search, post the link and tell them what you searched on.

Ok, I am pretty sure this is already in this thread somewhere wink.gif but i just need to vent!

I confess that my unbooked, haven't RSVP'd guests are driving me INSANE! I am about ready to pull all reference to hotels and airfare off of our wedding website! girl_werewolf.gif

I am irked because I sent my STD's out 10 months before the wedding and the invitations 6 months before!!!!!!!!! the RSVP date on the invitations was for January 15th...this week alone we have had 4 people come to us and tell us that they now want to go and want to book!!!! (mind you these are people that have NEVER told us previously that they wanted to come!)

I thought that there would be a few RSVP stragglers but SERIOUSLY they are now OVER a month past due!!!!!!!!!! UGH!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
