Ohh honey that is the worst! I know it's hard but the end result will be totally worth it! I quit three years ago and it gets easier but the cravings never really go away especially when you're stressed! I used lollypops to help with the oral fixation. But stay strong it will get better :)

I confess that i bought two bathing suits today and won't be telling FI. I have problems with shopping.
I know the feeling! I cannot stay out of the mall.

I confess that I want to strangle my FI for being lazy sometimes. I swear if I don't make a "honey-do" list for him or tell him a million times to do something it won't get done. I mean this is something as easy as taking out the trash on trash day. AGHGHGH. Why do we live with the men we love?

This will be a semi vent too:

My FBIL might be one of the worst people I've ever met. He's 29, mows lawns FOR A LIVING, and mooches of his parents-but doesn't live at home because he doesn't get a long with his mom.

His parents pay his rent, car insurance, health insurance, car payment and put money in his account on a monthly and need be basis. They paid his whole pay for the wedding to Mexico and he didn't even call them to say thank you after they bought the plane tickets! They didn't even pay for my FI suit!

He came to visit us in Vancouver a few weeks ago and LOST $400 at the casino right after he was talking about having bad credit from not being able to afford some bills.

This, among a few other things, makes me so ill!! I'm mad at his parents too for putting up with it to. His mom just retired and his dad wants to soon...why should they spend $2000 a month on a son because he's too lazy to support himself?? Especially when my FI and both work hard to be self sufficent. Erghhh so frustrating.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest :)

wow kate! i am the worst liar/secret-keeper EVER, which is why i had no choice but to do the legal ceremony in mexico!

NaM, he sounds like a total loser. i don't understand how anyone can be comfortable with doing that to their parents. i mean, if you're not going to respect them, at least have some self-respect. pa-thet-ic!

I didn't either that's crazy.

We thought about doing the wedding before we left but my parents would have been CRUSHED if we did. My dad has 4 daughters and has only walked my oldest sister down the aisle - over 20 years ago!

I confess that I am WAY over protective of my younger brother, who will be 30 years old this year. lol There was a nice article posted about him on a website about a recent accomplishment and someone wrote a comment about it that was negative about him. I could not help myself and had to write back to the person telling them what an idiot they are (tactfully of course) wink.gif And my blood was boiling! I get so worked up when anything bad is ever said or done to him. I'll fight... hahaha

Kelly I'm the exact same way with my younger brother!! He's just so nice and sweet which some people look at as the perfect opportunity to take advantage! I had to stop going to his hockey games that he would ref because I would get so worked up over the comments that parents in the stands were screaming at him!

Ladies...... I confess that I was drinking with friends last night and I had two smokesBangHead.gif I guess I'll have to stop drinking for now too sad.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
