Girls- Thanks for sharing your similar stories, not that I hope everyone else has just as sucky friends as I do, but it is nice to know its not just me. I'm really only talking about 3 girls who were my closest friends for years now, not my casual friends. I am not one at all for having attention on me, it was just the lack of any kind of gesture and lies from the people I thought would be there the most. It just made me really sad to see what our friendships have come to after all these years. I know people change and go their seperate ways, but there are those few people that you think you will always have in your life (I know it sounds cheesy). Oh well, now I know their true colors. I wish I was like my husband and could let things go easily, I tend to hold a grudge. I am working on that. I am totally with you girls on needing to find new friends, too bad we are spread out all over the continent!

On a positive note, a couple people that I wasn't real close to ended up going on our wedding trip and it really brought us closer, including some family members, so I am very thankful for that.

Some were even mad that we werent having any AHR. Im pretty pissed with a lot of these "friends" of mine. Considering that I put time, effort and money (not that money is factor) into all of their weddings. I need new friends. Im done with a lot of them.
You could both move to CT! I could use some new girlfriends too. :)

I have a confession!!

I feel like my brother and his wife (well, his wife mostly) are always trying to one-up me!!

First, we were both engaged but they had to get married first. They had to have the big expensive wedding and invited 100000000000 of their closest family and friends. While we have the small wedding with 20 guests. Then we get our wedding planned and I find out today that they are pregnant. And having their baby ONE WEEK BEFORE OUR WEDDING.

ARGH!

My sister did the exact same thing to me! I was really annoyed for awhile, but now I'm really, really excited to meet my baby niece! :) But, boy, did I need to vent when I first found out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
