I'm going all out. I plan on only doing this once. By any chance do you know of any boudoir photographers in NM?

Lisa-I'll save you a seat!
No I don't know of anyone who does strictly boudoir in New Mexico except a studio called Saturday's Child. Her photographs are really cheesy imo and almost have an eighties feel to them. Kim Donald photography has a boudoir like image on her website, so you might want to contact her. SHe does the most amazing work (my future sil had her photograph her wedding). Let me know if you find anything else on this. I've been looking for quite some time.

DH thinks its a complete waste of $$ to hire a pro for "wedding" pictures a year after the wedding when no one else will even be there. He wants to do 2 weeks vacation instead. It's just a constant struggle to make him understand how important this is to me - but I don't want to sacrifice a weeks vacation for it either!!! He said if I could come up with the money then we could do it...I might have to get a second job!!
Maybe if we book a TTD together it would be cheaper!!! Are you serious?? If not, then when I get the final dates I'm going to look around to see who is getting married in the area the same time - maybe they will want to split a TTD shoot? Can that even be done?? Will it be half the cost?? Hmmmmm....

We would have to go in January because in Feb I'll be in school again. sad.gif I bet if you find someone with a wedding date around that time you could get a better deal on a photog.

School Shmool!!! Ditch class & come to Mexico with me!! LOL

I am definitely going to look into it - or I might just hold off & go all out for my 10 year vow renewal!! I'm planning on a BD shoot for our 1 yr anniv so that might satisfy me!

well, we're all glad you and your family are ok! and i'm glad you took my comment as the joke it was meant to be ... i was afraid i could've ended up instilling even more panic by saying something like that!

Haha I was thinking the same thing when Kathy posted about her illness - but glad everyone is feeling better now!

I confess I want something else to happen so the media can focus on it other than swine flu...im hoping for a political scandal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
