Confessions

Confessions are so serious right now! While I'm not trying to take away from anyones issues, but I do have a food confession.

I have been dieting and doing really well at it until last night. I took FI's kids to Rubios to get dinner after their baseball practices. Their "kids meals" came with churros which gets them WAY hyped up so I told them they could not have them, it was was way too late (30 min before bed time by the time they were done eating). I told them I would put them in thier lunch boxes and they could have them after school when their mom picks them up (blush2.gif).

Well, I put them to bed and those churros were calling my name!! I couldn't stop thinking about them!!! So, after much internal debate and deliberation, I came to the conclusion that I have been a great eater all week and I deserve a treat. I decided I could have one and that I would cut the other in half and maybe they wouldn't notice that they were smaller. So I ate it. Then as I was cleaning up the kitchen and doing laundry, I couldn't stop thinking about the second one. I started thinking that I could just eat it and do a second workout today and then that might justify the extra calories and then I would just tell the kids that I forgot to put it in their lunch box. Well, I couldn't take it anymore, I went downstairs to eat it, I knew it was SO wrong and I shouldn't do it so at the last second I threw it down the garbage disposal and turned it on! Poor kids don't get a treat today.

I also confess that this is NOT the first time this has happened!!!

Hey girls... I have an update for you. DH and I are meeting with our real estate agent on Wednesday night to put in an offer on a condo. We talked and he agreed with my reasoning. So, the offer we are putting in is REALLY low, but you never know in this market. And, there are two other condos in the same complex we like, so if it doesn't work out we will just move on to the next one. I hope someone is desperate enough to sell to us!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
