Im so frustrated at my family and some of my friends. My RSVP date was for yesterday and I have only received about 20 out of 90 rsvp cards back. I cant believe how lazy people really are!!

Sorry ladies for venting. Its just so frustrating that my family sucks. On the brightside, Im 3 months away from starting my own family which is more important than stressing over people you didnt choose to be related to.

Thanks for listening! :)

Dont feel bad for venting.  That is one of the most common frustrations for DW brides.  People dont even bother to respond, even though you made the effort to invite them and pay money for a return stamp.  I think it was deplorable how people behaved, even people who got married previously and bitched and moaned about the same thing!

This is exactly why I didnt even bother with RSVP cards! A lot of my friends told me that they hardly got ANY back, so I didnt even waste my time.. luckily I pretty much knew who was going to be serious about going and I stalked them until they booked lol

I think we all feel the RSVP card pain. I was upset at first, but then I compared my guest list to my RSVP list and realized the most important people would be there to celebrate with us. I am not sure why everyone expects an AHR on top of a destination wedding. If I wanted to do it at home I would have....LOL

My FI has been sick since Feb. and no one can figure out what's wrong with him. He had an MRI done about a month or two ago now, and he's only just told me that the doctors are leaning towards MS. He's known this for ages, and didn't bother to tell me! It's not like him not being well hasn't affected me and our life together!!! I'm so frustrated right now! With him for with holding important info and with the docs who seem to just be sitting on their asses doing nothing to help him!!!

My wedding is 6months away and my aid of Honer, my OLDER 40 YEAR OLD SISTER told everyone today that she just simply can not afford to come to the wedding anymore and canceled all her plans.

She is 12 years older then me, she's 40, but I swear she thinks she's still in her twenty's.

I know she would be able to afford to come if she would be a little bit more responsible with her money. She does make over 50k a year. My aunt said she is just jealous because she isn't married and wants this to be her wedding.

We are the only siblings in the family. I personally know I can get over it and look past it this, but it made my mom cry all long today and It really makes me angry, My dad left my mom about a year ago and its been really hard on her. She doesnt need my sister acting like a knob!

I haven't confronted her because I don't want to make things worst, but GRRRRRRR makes me angry she only thinks about herself.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
