I totally knew too! I actually found the ring a week before he asked, because he is a dumb male and decided to "hide" it in his sock drawer...I am the one that does all the laundry. So of course I found it when I was putting stuff away. What a dummy. Lol. But we laugh about it now.

Me to!! We were on Vacation (Look I sound like an american!! Lol!) and just knew he was up to something! I had a feeling he'd do it whilst we were away, it was just a case of finding out which day! He booked a romantic meal at the start of the week, so knew it would be then. He was giggling and smiling all day, but to this day he still thinks it was a complete surprise!

lol me too! He told me one day that he had a special appointment while I was at work....and then called me to say don't check the credit card. Then when we had a dinner with my brother and SIL he pulled them aside to show them the ring. A couple days later SIL called to see when he was planning to do it b/c it was driving her crazy that she knew....but I was hugging him while he was talking on the phone, and could hear the entire thing. He still has no idea HOW much I knew, I just tell him I suspected b/c he's not good at being sneaky!

Jerseykitten- I'm right there with you. I can manage to justify why I shouldn't go to the gym every single day. My biggest problem is we are doing a lot of projects around the house right now and there is no way I can make progress with those AND go to the gym after work. FML!

I confess that I have been a horrible employee these last two weeks and have spent almost all my time at work on here or working on invites!
That thread got heated! fencing.gif

Confession: I am disappointed in myself and I know I shouldn't be. I went to a happy hour at work last night and ending up eating too much and didn't get to work out. I also ate too much Monday night. I am trying to lose 2lbs a week and I won't now. I have been working out so much and so hard lately that it bothers me that I throw it away so easily.

I NEED my dress to zipper up!!! It is the scariest thing when you have three months till your wedding, need to get alterations done but you can't zipper up your dress!

That's TOO funny! He hid his in the sock drawer too :) If only they had diaries growing up they would have thought of some craftier hiding spots!

Aw sad.gif Could you get a corset put in the back instead? I hate hate hate having keep such a careful eye on the scale. I bought my dress in January, and my weight fluctuates a good 10 lbs (depending on my mood, lol). So frustrating!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
