Wow that's awesome Lisa! I wish there was some sort of bootcamp around here!

I've been at the gym every day this week. I've been consistently doing an hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weights every day. I now run at least 2.5miles in 30 minutes and then do either the stair stepper or elliptical for the other 30. I'm alternating legs and arms every day. Off to Cabo in 5 days! I'm nowhere near where I wanted to be by now, but these last 6 weeks in the gym have really helped alot. Oh well, I guess that's what I get for procrastinating so long!

I was going to try a cardio class at our new gym last night. When I got there, they had tables set up in the cardio room. I was all bummed and one of the trainers came up to me, so I asked what was going on and if they were going to have the class....he said no that there was a City Counsel meeting in that room tonight. Hello - what is City Hall for??

Anyway, I told him how I haven't been to the gym in a month...and have been running 3-4 miles...4 or 5 days a week and seeing no results...and was really excited to go to the class and now I couldn't go. Sorry this is long...

Anyway, he said well what are you trying to get in shape for, so I told him I was getting married in August and really need to step it up. SOOOOO he said he did a boot camp class Mon, Wed & Fri from 5:30a-6:00a and for me to start coming.....FOR FREE...for a month....for my wedding gift from him. Normally his boot camp class is $125. He also told me he would take my body fat and put me on a clean diet and I would totally be ready for my wedding! I was like wooo hoo!!!

So, I went to the gym this a.m. at 5:15 and ran a mile then did his 30 minute boot camp....it rocked!!!

I thought that was so nice of him to do this for me for free!
Lisa thats great! You're so lucky you found a bootcamp and for free! I was thinking about trying that clean diet too, I need to find more information on it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
