Have you exercised today?

90 minutes of Bikram Yoga, and its a good workout, stress reliever, has increased my metabolism, I sleep better and have more energy during the day.

 

Pretty incredible. Honestly, I'm not too good at the poses yet either- except for of course the easy ones. :)

Oh! Now I feel like a bum. I haven't worked out at all this past week and I've spent the last two nights after work sifting through the forum reading everyone's ideas and experiences. I could use some motivation!

That's awesome!! I need to start trying new things because I'm getting really bored with just the gym. I used to do yoga & it really helped my back pain & migraines! I should try to find a class, but I don't know if there is any here where I live...

Thursday: AM spin class; then 40 min cardio after shopping all day.....that burns a lot of calories right?

Friday: Weights &45 min cardio after work

Okay! I got 42 minutes tonight! Only down 6 pounds since I started trying, but I do notice my clothes fitting a little better... hopefully the tire around my waist looses its tread before the wedding! :)

Saturday: pull weights & 60 min cardio interevals

Sunday: push weights; 50 min cardio

Today: 45 min eliptical this morning......going for walk after work if it's still sunny :)

Golfed 9 holes yesterday ( no power cart, had to hoof it & carry my bag) & then took the pooch for a walk to the beach in the evening. Planning on hitting the gym tonight & taking a long walk! I have to stop slacking...

Made it to the gym today, but it wasn't as great as I'd hoped. I tweaked my wrist this afternoon trying to carry a giant water bottle thingy (like the Culligan size) so I wasn't able to do anything involving my left arm so I stuck to legs & abs even though it was arm day! Kinda bummed. Boo.

spin class this morning at 6....I think I was asleep for the first half...going back for weights after work...only 4 more days of working out before I get to lay on a beach chair for 7 days :)

    • we ended up using Facebook messenger when we were in Mexico - the hotel had free wifi and at least 1 person from each family/couple had FB on their phone already - it was pretty easy to communicate among guests "hey, we're heading to the beach bbq for lunch." or "everyone is hanging at the small pool today".  a plus was that some people tried to get a hold of me via FB on the day of the wedding and I was totally not checking my phone - they were asking if the wedding was outside given the rain forecast, thankful my mom, MOH and a few other friends were on the group and could respond for me :)

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well. 
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
