Have you exercised today?

Recommended Posts

That's great Paula!!

Today was my day off from exercise. I'm trying to do 5 days a week which seems reasonable/doable. I did it for 2 weeks, then my face exploded so I took a week off. I've got 3 days done this week. I'm doing weights tomorrow morning and will do cardio Sat.

Everyone is doing so great! Keep up the good work!

I have been sleeping so bad!!! Which makes it very hard to get up in the morning to exercise when I've gotten no sleep! But even though I haven't done my hard core workouts, I have taken the dogs for walks almost everyday, 2-3 miles, I have some major hills, so that helps, and I try to walk fast to get my heart rate up.

I did do the treadmill tonight, it was raining, but I'm glad I did, I did 40 minutes, and I felt so good after, part running, part walking. And I also did some arms, while walking and afterwards.

I was thinking today that I have 3 months left, ahhhh!! Only 3 months, but if I lose 10 lbs. a month, that would be 30 by the wedding, plus the 10 I already lost, and I would be really happy about that! I just can't fall off the wagon anymore because it really is crunch time, I've had a year to do this, nothing like waiting until the last minute!

wow this post is really long, sorry to ramble!

I bought 3 workout DVDs today. Billy Blanks Bootcamp Ultimate Workout, Dancing with the Stars Cardio, and NYC Ballet Workout.

I did the NYC Ballet one today. I was a little sore from my run yesterday so the stretching felt really good. I liked the video as a whole, but I think a lot of people wouldn't like it. It's ballet - so if you've never done it before it might be rough to follow. It wasn't made for cardio at all. It really worked my arms and booty. I'll probably do this one after work on days when I only lift in the morning.

I can't actually believe I went 9 straight days in a row working out last week and the one before. I did take two days off however then decided to bake cookies since I was bored......rant.gif yeah....not a good idea! Somehow I managed to bounce back from my mini binge and worked out extra hard with 55 min of cardio and 30 min of weights on Saturday. I'm still losing weight but now my FI is giving me shit!rant.gif

He mentioned that my butt is "shrinking" and he can see hip bones when I lay down. What a butthead! I'm feeling so good about my body for the first time in a while since I can put all of my clothes on and they are loose! I went shopping and everything I tried on was huge. He keeps saying how skinny I'm getting....not telling me how hard I've been working, or that I look good. It's always comments like, "wow you look so skinny" when I think I'd rather just hear how I'm hot!

He did say he feels like he got a new and improved version of Amy....but thats only after I mentioned how much hotter I feel with regards to certain activites.....bunny_4.gif

What a bonehead!

I'm a nut. I went to gym yesterday morning and did 45 min of cardio then went back after work and tried this "power hour" class that supposidly is for weight training (which I do on my own with free weights).

The dude that was teaching it was such a tool. I wanted to giggle so bad the whole time because he was going on and on about how he loves kelly clarkston smile120.gif and then he was mouthing the words to some old 80's song...sounds like "om-i-day-us" its that one with the french looking guy in the old school video. Anyways...you had to be there. monkey.gif I was the only one under 40 in the class. Needless to say it was a joke and I won't be going again. Back to my normal workout today! At least I tried something new.

I'm at 4 straight days again....going for 6 this week.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
