Have you exercised today?

I got to bootcamp 5 days a week and sometimes on Saterday (last weekend we did a 10 mile bike ride.) The scale is not always the best indicator of what is going on with your body. I would recommend taking measurements of yourself and recheck them every 30 days or so. Since starting bootcamp at the end of November i have lost 7 and 1/2 pounds. I think that is pretty good but it never comes off as quick as we want it to. Your weight will totally change depending on what time of day it is and what time of the month it is too. Don't get discouraged - keep it up and it will be worth it in the end!

you're making me cry - TLC was on at my house all of the time, even if i wasn't watching it, it was great background "noise." but Paul doesn't have cable ... grrrr

as for the scale - i do try to avoid those if i can. instead i try to go by how my clothes are fitting me. scales aren't all bad - but if they don't produce the numbers you're wanting to see, it can be pretty discouraging!

OK, I finally made it to the gym today. First time back since September! YIKES, 30 minutes on the treadmill, Abs, Lunges, dead lifts, tricep dips and pushups.....and I was exhausted, this isnt even half of what I would normally do. Oh well you have to start somewhere.

So I weighed myself and it turns out I actually am the same weight even though I swear I have gained weight. I think I just lost so much muscle mass that the scale is being tricked. I agree, go with how you fit in your cloths and how you see yourself in the mirror nude. Thats a much better determiner for me than the scale.

TAMMY - you need to TRY to get moving more! You could have gone for a walk while they changed your oil....actually I am taking for granted that it is 75 degrees here.....but if it isn't freezing where you are THEN you could have gone for a walk! NO MORE EXCUSES! Get to the gym or elserant.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
