I kicked my own butt on the treadmill last night! but it feels good when you start to see yourself improve, going further, and longer, etc..

Jules, I love Pump! It makes you feel so good!! My gym has it, but I never have time to go to the gym, so I'm cancelling my membership. At least for now, and I'll just use the treadmill.

I went to the gym today and did 40 minutes on the elliptical machine. No weights because I did my whole body yesterday.

Sadly, I will not be able to work out for the rest of the week though, 3 days is better than nothing right? I am leaving early to head up to Barrie tomorrow for my sister's birthday and I will be there for the rest of the weekend. No working out happening. I will try for a walk on Saturday, but that is the best I will do.

TammyM, what happened to you, have not heard from you in a while. How is working out going for you?

See, I know that a few days off is okay, but I am starting to get a little stressed. Since Jan 1 I started back at the gym, at least 3 days a week, and I started eating better, not really a diet (cause I suck at those and I need to save something for the last 2 months before the wedding when I need to lose that last few pounds) but my scale is not moving at all. I feel better and my clothes is not tight, a little loser (nothing drastic) but I am feeling really crappy about it. I know it takes time, but come on, its been 24 days of going back to the gym and eating better. How much longer till I should try something new? Do we have any personal trainers or dieticians on this site? lol That is what we need, someone find us one of them who wants to spend their spare time talking to all of us brides. lol

Jules, you used to do ww right? Have you thought about trying to count your points and do the gym? I feel like I'm constantly dieting and I know the times when I exercise and don't track what I'm eating I don't really tend to lose anything. I guess its because even when we feel like we're eating good if we don't write it down we can still overeat without realizing it. The proof of this for me is that I get salads for lunch a lot and I try to go with the ones with grilled chicken and no cheese, well I looked up the points on one of my salads, which was literally chicken lettuce and dressing, it was 15 points!!!

If you want to try, we have a ww thread and we keep each other in line, maybe it will help, you could start when you get back on monday.

I did do WW last year and lost 20 lbs. I gained 10 of those back when my BIL passed away, so, I have 20 lbs to lose by Oct. I had hoped to not do ww again, but, I think you are right, I should start counting my points at least.

I hear there is a new plan, do you have the information about it? I heard you get more points or something.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
