Crawford, how many pics did Michael take in all? Was it hard to narrow them down? Dive you a low-res CD with everything that he took so you can order more later?

He took about 275 pictures in all. It was really hard to narrow it down. We prepaid for 30 pictures when we got there. When we were actually looking at the photos it was looking like we were going tohave to get more because we couldn't choose. We ended up with 60 pictures in total. We got 10 prints to bring home. (This was included in the initial picture package) He told us that if we wanted to order more pictures he would email the whole file to us and then we could order more. He didn't give us an option to get a low-res CD. But I can always email him and he will send the pictures. He told us he that he still has his pictures from his first wedding. I hope this helps!

Here are a few of my pro pics from Michael. I'll have the other 750+ pics up in a week or so. It took Michael time to edit them all & I just received the CD in the mail. My pictures turned out beautifully and I loved Michael. He was great!!

I hope there are no problems for you future Riu brides that choose not to use him. I wouldn't stress too much since you have the e-mail from the Riu. Try to enjoy the rest of your planning process.

It was the free cake! It would've been plenty for my guests (51) but no one really ate any, too busy dancing... I'm glad I didn't upgrade!

For those of you who are worried about Micheal and his fee: I got married on 3/8/08 at ROR. We were worried about Micheal too. Especially after he e-mailed us a week before our wedding...several times. My best friends are wedding photogs. They came down and stayed 3 nights and took all of our pics as a gift. We told Chandlyn and Micheal, "no thanks". He said "we'll see". I was worried he would come down to my wedding and make a scene, but he didn't. We didn't pay his fee and all was well. Heather

thanks heather, i leave a week from today and the first email i got today was from Micheal at the photoshop with his price list, etc. I have my own photog and I may use him for the video, if he doesn't hassle us about the photography. I'm glad you didn't have any problems.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
