I work for a major airline in customer service at Sea-Tac. currently this bid my job is not a typical airline job, I work in the office that dispatches wheelchairs to meet an inbound flight, or pick you up at the ticket counter to get you to your gate. Normally I am the person at the gate who sits there and acts like I care (J/K!) when you ask about upgrading or standby or changing your seat or if there is a meal, or how long the flight is or whatever. :) Its fun, but I needed a change for a while so I bid wheelchair dispatch for the spring.

I recently obtained my Library & Information Technician certificate (June 2006), and have since been working as a library assistant in a small research library for a defence contracting company. Basically I get to process books (call numbers, spine labels, book cards...yes, we still use book cards, the library is too small to warrant a computerized system), circulate journals throughout the company, and order articles for the engineers to use for their research. It's not the most exciting job, but it pays well, the people are really nice, and I get to work pretty much on my own. Hoping to one day work in a school library, but for now I enjoy what I do.

I love hearing about other's people's jobs, and there are a lot of interesting ones on here.

I am a corporate recruiter for a market research company. I went to school for journalism, but worked as a recruiter through college. After I finished school I was recruited by my current company so I ended up just sticking with recruiting. I like it because I get to hire people (the good side of HR), have the flexibility to work from home, and I work with a great team. On the other hand it can be boring at times. I look at hundreds of resumes a day so I'm glued to my computer. I'm starting to get tired of it so I just went back to school in January and am taking a pastry class. I have always loved to bake and thought I would take some classes to see if this would be a possible career change for me. If there are any pastry chefs out there I'd love to hear about it.

smile120.gif I will keep my fingers crossed that your new career takes off for you. If that doesnt work you can always think about putting the YKK on zippers.

Everyone on here has such interesting jobs!!

Right now I run an office (really a project manager) for a General Contractor. I am also in the process of opening up a new Kitchen/Bathroom Design Showroom in our area...I have always wanted to start and own my own business. To add to all of that I am also getting my MBA to help me through all of this.

I work for the Fire Department as an Executive Assistant to the Chief who oversees emergency responses at Denver International Airport. My job duties are long, but the guys just say if you need anything or have any questions about anything that goes on around here...ask Celina - she does it all!

I actually work in a firehouse where the firefighters are on duty. It is an interesting job to say the least!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
