Post your wedding Dress!!

Recommended Posts

so this is my dress...i loved it the first time i saw it in a mag but mistakenly thought it was a vera wang so i had trouble finding it...i am short so i cant do the big, fluffy dresses but dont have the curves to do a sheath either...

when i tried this dress on i knew it was for me...it is super light and made me feel so amazing when i put it on...it is way over my budget but my finace said we would forget the $$ before we forgot the dress and that it was my day...he is so sweet...

it is carolina herrera.

Tammy -- that dress is amazing! I never thought a simple strapless dress could look so unique, but this one definitely does! It will look so good on the beach too. I love the subtle details and lightness at the bottom of the skirt.

Here is mine: It's Casablanca 1825 - Unfortunately I won't be able to have a pic of myself in it until August when it arrives!!! I ordered it from www.netbride.com and am saving about $250 that way (not a lot, but every little bit helps, I guess).

What I like about it: The shape and the simplicity -- it's actually less "poofy" in real life I think. The sash will go with the boys wearing khaki (I hope!) and the tails are removable for the reception! It's made of a really different silk that I just fell in love with too.

Oh, and can you girls tell I am a total V-neck-aholic too? :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
