Dreams Tulum Wedding Form

Erica,

I also got this same email but I somehow missed your thread, sorry! I have not sent it back to her yet, I am working on it as we speak. She stated in the email to have it back to her by the 15th but then in the document it says 15 days before the wedding. This "batch" that she sent were for May 2008 brides.

OK guys - So I emailed Sandra 2 weeks ago and haven't heard a peep. I know she is busy, but this is suuuuper frustrating for me. Our wedding is not until April of '09 and I am already having nightmares about it! We are also trying to plan a site visit for the end of this April and I really want to talk to Sandra before all of this is planned. Does anyone have any advice? Should I try to call her or try to email her assistant? I know with a DW you are supposed to let go of all the control issues - and I promise I will!! I just want to check out the resort first! Also, I read a thread on discounts for site visits at Dreams Cancun...does Dreams Tulum do the same thing?

I've always been in touch with Landy. At first, before I booked, she was always very fast to get back to me, usually a few hours or one day but sometimes a couple days. Lately I get answers in about a week or two, so they are obviously more busy.

Here is landy's address: [email protected]

definetely email them if you have pressing questions, that's what I did when I was about to book and wanted to confirm the day and time of my ceremony, I couldn't wait around for an email response.

BTW they don't work on weekends.

Juji,

I know it is really frustrating not hearing back from Sandra in 2 weeks but to be honest, I am having my wedding in a few months and Sandra has been really slow to respond the past few weeks. I imagine she will be pretty busy the next couple of months with people who booked their weddings over winter break/spring break. Just be patient and persistant! If you do not hear back, send the same message again.

Hello ladies! I just spoke with Sandra about those mass emails. She says she is sooo sorry and didn't mean to not "blind copy" the addresses. She usually does that but this time for some reason it slipped her mind. She totally gets some brides don't want their emails revealed so she apologizes and says she will go back to "bc" everyone!

BTW they are working hard at getting a 3 WC for the property but to date they haven't found the one who "fits" in with them. Lets keep crossing our fingers so that they find someone soon!! This way Sandra will be able to get back to us much, much sooner!

Juji - You're not being a brat....you just want answers, as did I when I was planning my wedding there. She told me that she really would rather wait until 4 months before the wedding to discuss anything with me. I was fine with that. I started an e-mail to her and saved it, and every time I thought of a question, I would add it. By the time April got here, I was able to send everything to her.

My understanding is that they don't work at all (when I tried calling to confirm the date it was a saturday, reception told me they wouldn't be back at work until monday), but I could be wrong or maybe that was only for that weekend in particular.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
