We are doing a one-shoulder as well, and I was also wondering about jewelry. I am giving each girl a small bracelet from etsy stamped with her initial that I am hoping she will wear. I am also giving my moh a set of pearl necklace and earrings, but I am telling her she does not need to wear that with her dress; they can be for whenever. So I think I will leave the earrings and necklace decision to them, and shoes as well. I told them to wear whatever they like on their feet, or they can be barefoot (we are getting married on the beach), but gold, tan or nude shoes might work best with their coral dresses.

I have seen a girl wear a simple long necklace over a one-shoulder dress. That may work too.

But it will be in a dark purple (eggplant) and to go with the vintage feel of my dress we are addinf an ivory lace flower on the assemetrical side where the ruching comes together

I really want an eggplant colour and everyone keeps telling me it might be too dark for a destination wedding. I might jazz it up with really bright shoes and maybe a sash or flower of some sort in a more beachy colour. Love the dresses and the colour. Good pick!

I am also doing a one-shoulder dress for the bridesmaids.  There will be no necklaces, but there will be dangley earrings, bracelets, and foot jewelry.  For the dinner/reception, they can wear whatever shoes they want.  For an ivory dress, you could go with just about anything!  Do you have a fun accent color like coral, purple or red?  Shoes in a different color could be a fun pop!  Or you could play it safe with taupe or bronze.  GOOD LUCK!!!  :-)

4 months, 1 week!!!  Time to hit the gym... HARD!!!!  LOL!

Pretty!  Elegant, yet will look great on the beach.

I probably wouldn't go with a necklace, but I am not really a necklace kinda girl...

Some simple  but sparkly drop or dangly earrings would be nice.

I want one color to fade into the other one. Please tell me someone knows where to find them.

Dessy.com under Lela Rose has some ombre dresses if you are looking for that.

For my vow renewal, I have my sister as my MOH and my daughter as a bridesmaid. Who are the people women most fight with? Thier sisters and daughters. When thinking of my bridesmaids dresses, this popped in my mind. I think my daughter would be the most challanging, at 13, I could not see me winning a you are wearing this dress fight.I do not want that stress on the ceremony day. So, I picked the infinity dress for both of them. I have yet to decide on the color, but this way #1 they can wear it how ever they wish and #2 they can wear it again and again and have different dresses all the time. I know I do not want black for the color but this picture had a very good demonstration of all the ways you can wear the same dress.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
