My girls picked out this Raylia dress. It's great because it looks good on different body types since it has a corset back.

Also, you are able to pick a satin base color and a lace overlay. We did a terracotta satin with a peach overlay. It's very pretty together.

I saw the JCrew embossed beach dress in a forum member's slideshow and thought it looked great on her bridesmaids. I looked on-line at JCrew and found it in three styles and lots of colors. I liked it because it was pretty, simple, and would look good on lots of people. I stopped by JCrew to see if they had any I could look at before we ordered them and they did!! I was able to buy them on there on sale. I'm excited. Here is the link Strapless Embossed Beach Dress - Summer Dress Shop - Women - JCrew.com. One of my bridesmaids tried it on and it looked really attractive on her (enough for a whistle from her husband). I got navy even though I might have picked a brighter color if I hadn't seen the navy. The salesperson I called said they are coming out with more beach wedding colors in November (purple, orange, and yellow).

Yeah! We ordered the BMs dresses last night! After much hassle, finally everyone loved this one. I never expected a pink dress (I was leaning towards light green), but this looked great on all the girls and they all said it was comfortable. The color is "peony" and it looks different in person. Plus it was only $120! Also, it comes with straps, which my SIL was requesting. PERFECT!

I'm so excited...I just spent the day with my mom & my sister. We FINALLY found bridesmaid dresses!!! *YAY!*

My sister (MOH) will wear either this:

David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail

or this:

David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail

The other 3 girls will wear the one my sister doesn't pick and these other 2 designs:

Great dress picks everyone!

My MOH will be wearing this dress (ha ha, the pic is ME taking a photo of myself in the dressing room when I first found them). She will have a 2 month old baby by the time the wedding happens so the gathering on the tummy was a little more forgiving:

And my 2 bridesmaid's will be in the halter style:

And the groomsmen will be wearing this shirt and white linen pants:

I wasn't too fussy with what my girls decided to wear. I told them the colour and let them have their fun. I can't remember where they got them, but I think my BM (holding hands with the flower girl) got hers at J Crew. My MOH teaches salsa dancing and is constantly ordering new dresses online, so she already had a dress in the right colour.

Finally picked out dresses for my bridesmaids: Watters & Watters | Bridesmaid Gown Collection | Style 7415 | Dupioni silk knee length strapless dress with wrap ties. Available in knee length, floor length or extra length.

My bridesmaids will be wearing them in "mojito" and my sister (MOH) will wear the plumeria ... so far all the girls LOVE the green! I am sooo relieved :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
