Bikini Wax?

Oh, and if you're going to do it for your BD, you should try to keep it up until the wedding - it hurts the worst the first time and then is a lot easier each month. The other thing I would recommend is to try to either trim the hair before you go so that its a little less than half an inch - alternatively, shave and wait until it grows to that length. If the hair is long it hurts worse and if its too short, it will be hard to wax.
Thanks for telling me about the trimming part. I hope this isn't TMI (being that I started this thread, I guess I can't say that...lol!) but I do shave my bikini line once a week or so. So I'm guessing I shouldn't the week before?

Yes, definitely do not shave the area a week before.

I don't know if this is true for anyone else but when I get a wax, my lady pulls really quickly while I press down so it hurts for a minute but I usually walk away with no pain afterwards just when its being done.

Having had a brazillian wax, I love getting it, I feel so clean afterwards. If you're not ready to try a brazillian wax what about the playboy?

I am thinking about getting my pits done too. I tried it one time before and it was hell on Earth! The woman said she did not know if the hair was long enough, she tried to wax and realized it was not long enough! I was not watching what she was doing and felt this tremendous pain, so I looked over. She was plucking each hair! OH MY GOODNESS! The worst part was she was grabbing skin instead of just hair with each pluck! Needless to say, I wil not be going to her for a bikini or brazilian!

BTW- what is a playboy?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
