By the way, take a look at these - the fish are blown glass and are suspended on a bit of fish line from a glass bubble that floats. They aren't perfect, but they are really cute! Floating Glass Bubble Fish and Sea Life

And at $1 each, they aren't much more than a live fish would cost.
Great find on the faux fishy! I like the starfish a lot! Thanks for sharing.

Now, about the centerpieces, I can't decide between the first one or the last one. They're both great, but definetly with out fish, I like the glass ones :). Have you thought about a single real flower? A gardenia or an orchid would be really pretty.

I think they look stunning, but i have not read this thread, so I do not know if anyone else asked yet, but what do you plan on doing with the fish after? People can't bring them home, they are not allowed on the flight, so are these poor little guys all going to be left for dead? I really and truly hope not. I think you should keep your centerpiece as it, its stunning, but find something else to put inside that is not alive, maybe a fake fish or something?

Thank you so much everyone if only my FI could be so supportive in decorative decisions. (LOL) So the center pieces are for my AHR so I am sure I could find some thing to do with the fish so they only have to suffer through 5 hours. However the vases are bigger then most Iâ€ve seen betas in before. I also really like the glass fish I am considering ordering one to try a demo if I do I will be sure to post it. I did originally look in to a real floating flower and the price was crazy high. I tried to float a silk flower and it sank. Does anyone have ideas on how to float silk flowers. Again thank you, you girls are the best!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
