Looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks for sharing the photos.

They came out very nice! I'm so glad since I'm also using Claudia's company (Citlalli & Miguel).

Now that I saw your pictures, I think I'm going with the red carpet as well since my dress have a semi-chapel train.

Sorry, I hope you don't mind that I have a few questions.

How many guests did you have?

Was there enough room to dance the way they had set up the tables?

Did it get too cold during the reception that the guests needed sweaters?

Did you have a buffet dinner or sit down?

Did you hire a DJ and if so who?

What time did the reception end?

Would you recommend wearing a veil since it was pretty windy by the gazebo?

Muchas Gracias!!cheer2.gif

I didn't ask for the carpet, they just used it anyway.

I will post a review soon, but here are some answers to your questions...

41 adults, 5 children

We danced inside only for the first dance and father-daughter/mother-son dances, we were outside for the rest

buffet dinner fotr more choices

we had an ipod and the sound guy took care of it for us

Hmmm... cannot remember the time... 9:30 ish maybe?

I am glad I used a veil since I felt more bride-like, but it was a real hassle and you can see me roaring with laughter with my dad walking down the aisle since it was spinning around our heads! So for that time of year, I say no.

Did you get the sparklers down there?

We had a friend of a friend buy the sparklers around the holidays and he brought them by close to the wedding.

Do you mind if I ask where you got your maracas?

One of my BMs in Mexico City made them and brought them with her.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
