I'm probably going to change too and I figured I'd change after dinner on the way to our dancing reception.

For us, there really was no real introduction... when we were at the disco, the DJ did welcome everyone and asked the "New Mr. and Mrs. MacRae to the center of the dance floor for their first dance."

If you have a DJ for the Plantation, you could let Chandlyn know you want the DJ to introduce you as you walk into the restaurant. Maybe do up a script for the DJ if you have a lot of these things in mind.

I didnt have programs, but I did have fans and bubbles to be placed on the chairs before the ceremony. I gave them to Chandlyn at our meeting and it was no problem, she placed them on the chairs for us, so she could certainly do that with your programs. Maybe only 2 or 3 people used the bubbles, LOL! People liked the fans though!

my reception dinner is in the mammeebay.. i am gonna have a friend or family member introduce us.. we will just come in and sit down... we will eat..cake cutting, speaches and then head to the disco..

i think at the disco thats when the we will do our 1st dance..

also im gonna change b4 i come to mammeebay.. only for picture purposes.. plus my dress is mermaid style..and its tight..and while sitting down i dont wanna bust it open ..lol.. i will take pics on the beach with my wedding dress..and then my 2nd dress matches the colors of my bridesmaids so i will wear it at the dinner for pics..

we are also bringing our bose ipod doc to play music during dinner..

i was wondering the same thing about their music system for the ceremony(whether or not it sounded loud enuff and clear) otherwise i was thinking about using the bose doc for the ceremony also..cuz i have specific songs that i want my the girls and i to walk down to.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
