Hi everyone. I'm 31 and from Southern Ca. My fiance and I talked about a Cabo wedding in the fall of 2007... haven't even started on budget so we have alot of work to do. I plan on being on this site alot when I should be working. :)

 

I'm thinking of Dreams in Cabo. We were there two years ago and saw some beautiful weddings. My family is from the Midwest and a majority of our friends are here in CA.

 

Ah! Guess I'll keep reading through the posts to see where to start. I think I need to get a binder to keep myself organized. Anyone know of a great one?

Welcome Angela, and congratulations on your engagement! There are a ton of brides on here that got married or are getting married at Dreams in Cabo - so you will get a lot of help! As for a binder, I don't have one but am starting to think I should. I have little papers flying everywhere!

 

Now for the important thing - you'll have to post a picture of your ring, we love seeing all the great styles!

Welcome! You will find a TON of information here. I'm leaving for Cabo tonight for my site visit at Dreams. We're getting married June 3 at Dreams - I can't wait to go see it. I'll post a review when I'm back, but you can find everything you need to know on this forum! As for a binder, I have one that is plastic and opens up like an accordian with a lot of different folder sections for loose paper. This works well for me b/c I have been ripping pics out of magazines and this type of binder helps me organize the various sections (I have them labeled for flowers, hair, music, decorations, etc). GOOD LUCK!

I'm very excited and overwhelmed all at once. I think my main job is to rely on you guys and not my FI for venting. :)

 

FYI: I changed my username so it wasn't my complete email address.. it's a play on from the fact that I'm originally from WI.. nowhere near a Diva.. just thought it was funny. "Cheese_diva".

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
