We registered last week. We registered at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Kholâ€s. It was a long process and we were very tired (and hungry) at the end... so we started getting silly. I have to laugh because at Target my fiancé registered for twenty Big Reese Peanut Butter Cups. I just know we will get them all. Also, we registered for a Wii… I would absolutely love to get the Wii. It was hard registering we have most the stuff that would typically be on the list. We often joke that we are registered at Bank One, National City, First Merit, etc…

i forgot about this thread, but we registed on feb 18th, and it was exhausting but fun, and we have already added some things to our registries online. we ended up doing macys, crate & barrel and bed bath & beyond, and then just signed up for a pottery barn one this week to get it ready to go after some of the gifts get depleted from my two showers. thanks to everybody for your suggestions, i went in with a list of recommendations which made it a lot easier! my FI showed our registry to his mom the other day, and she is one of the classiest people i know with amazing taste, and she called me to tell me that she loved all the things we picked cheesy.gif i had to laugh though, because some of the items we picked, we picked because they were similar to what his mom already has and we admire her taste so much!

I don't blend much so I've aways had the plastic $20 models. This one is glass and the blades really sharp :)
jamy, thanks for the advice about the blender, we played with one in the store and i am so excited to get it because like you, we have always had the $20 janky plastic models. J was actually saying he was sad to throw away the janky one though because he's had it since college. ew. its going out in the trash the moment someone buys me that cuisinart blender! we registered for the exact one you have. cant wait to use it!

We registered at 3 places. Pottery Barn, ZGallerie and William Sonoma. We've gotten pretty lucky and have gotten almost all we wanted. At Pottery Barn we registered for a dip bowl a large salad bowl and 12 of the bowls that match that and we've almost gotten everything. We mostly registered for entertainment stuff.

fryingpan.gifI know. Maybe this weekend. FI is super pumped to go shopping for a new entertainment center for our new plasma tv. Maybe we will just squish registering in too. He won't be that much of a pain. At least he likes to shop- for mostly manly things. haha I'll let him put some super expensive guy stuff on there to keep him entertained.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
