Welcome to the forum! There are plenty of Cozumel Riviera Maya brides to be around here so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. El Dorado is a buetifull resort, and there are so many other resorts to look at too. Let us know if you need any help picking your resort.

Here are some of the popular wedding resorts;

Dreams Cancun and Tulum

Occidental resorts

Royal Porto Real

El Dorado

Aventura Spa Palace

Wow! I cant believe how much feedback I received allready! Thank you to everybody. I have learned so much just reading over the threads. Our biggest problem so far is trying to find a resort that has rooms (around 30 maybe) and has the rustic feel we are looking for. While the big resorts are good for weddings we are looking for something more intimate. Many of our guests do not want to pay 300 a night so we are just trying to find the balence. The occidental hotels in Cozumel look good as well. Does anyone know how the food is there as its the one thing my dad is really concered about? Thank you so much again!!!!!

Welcome! Congratulations on your engagement! I'm sure you'll find that the girls on this site are very nice and super helpful. When you say rustic feel what exactly do you mean by that? Do you want something that looks more traditional in terms of Mexican culture? Are you looking for an all inclusive. Cozumel and RM have great all-inclusive places that are smaller and very affordable. Let us know how we can help.

Uh OH, your dads food concerns scare me a little. Only because in general unless you are willing to book one of the higher end AI, the food at AI resorts is good, but not anything to rave about. It depends what your dads concerns are; is he concerned with the variety of food, because if this is the case than you should be OK. There is alway a good variety of menu or buffet options to choose from at the AI's but... If he wants gourmet food you may have a hard time finding an AI for under 300 that has the food your looking for.

We had looked at both the grand Cozumel and the OGX but choose the OGX only because we had heard better things about Playe Del Carmne than Cozumel. Occidental Cozumel looks very nice though. I just really like the looks of the Occidental resorts! They all have a very nice style about them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
