Buy a cheap dress for Trash the Dress - Ebay has tons!!

I was thinking about it, but only if it can be cleaned to its original state (or close to) after.

I have asked multiple dress shops if 'trashing the dress' actually ruins it, and they all made a face. I guess they don't like to hear about beautiful dresses getting ruined.

Some of our guests cannot make it for the day we picked, so they can also book through our travel agent for another date. Others cannot commit this early so they may book closer to November.

My travel agent is also my aunt so I know she is on my side. Just make sure if you are holding any rooms to ask what is the penalty if they cannot be filled. In my case $400 deposit was able to hold 1 room. ($200pp)

Shelly,

We did the TTD session and  we brought out outfits home and the local dry cleaner got everything out!  Actually, it was just sand, really.  I'd HIGHLY recommend the TTD -- our pics are unbelievable!!!!!!!  Although our photog was quite amazing, too!! :)  (P.S. I used my wedding dress for the TTD)

Well ladies we are back from a WONDERFUL week at Dreams.  All in all the week went very smooth minus the rain shower that washed away my wedding reception.  The ceremony went off without a hitch but just as we were starting our pictures the rain started coming down.  We were supposed to be on the Bordeaux Terrace but we got moved into the oceana.  My original wedding planner was Yessica but something happened with her baby so she is off for awhile and a girl named Gara took over.  We also had a few issues at check out regarding the bill but all was solved in the end. Ladies you will not be disappointed with your choice to have your wedding at Dreams.  All my guests had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back again

Just a couple of our pictures from the wedding. The last is me sad because I couldn't use the lanterns on the terrace due to the rain.  We also didn't get any beach pictures because of the rain but hubby and I put on some nice clothes and took some pictures the day before we left, I didn't feel like putting my rain soaked dress back on after the wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
