I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the cocktail and dinner prices listed on the Dreams website are accurate? Dreams Punta Cana Resorts & Spas: Wedding Extras

It seems SO MUCH CHEAPER than their other resorts that I can't help but wonder if this is actually old Sunscape pricing? Does anyone know what the correct current prices are?

Those are the current prices that we were qouted, and we have based our budget on what is posted. That is also what the wc sent to me via email.

Hi everyone! Im getting married at Dreams PUJ 3 months from today. The time of my wedding on July 1st (CANADA DAY!!!) is at 2:00pm... Im wondering if this is going to be too early. I plan on having a private reception dinner at the Bordeaux Terrace but Im not sure when they start the dinners. Im assuming around 6pmish... any suggestions?

              Hi DreamsBride09,

As a photographer, I always recommend to book the wedding ceremony at 3pm or 4pm. The best time for pictures is anytime after 3pm, I find 2pm is too early and the lighting is very harsh between 11am-3pm.

WOW, this post if very helpful thank you all.

Dreams is one of the options I am looking at for our DW. The pictures of the beach set up are beautiful and the pricing has also been helpful. I noticed a few of you had questions on the pricing. The biggest tip I can give from others is to have keep ALL documentation on pricing. Any final agreements, invoices etc. If you have something in black and white it is easier to stand firm on the final invoice. I've read that a lot of invoices will hike up the price. Having this information will allow you to argue/stand firm with them.

I am thinking about the Dreams resort. This seems to be one of the more affordable resorts...am I assuming correctly?

hey zoetwin! it probably depends on the time of year, but dreams i believe dreams is considered one of the more affordable resorts in PC. i see that your wedding date is only a few days after mine! through our TA we've gotten a few different prices for rooms during that time of year so far but not all the packages are out yet. based on what we've seen though, prices should be fairly comparable to what they are this year, especially with the economy!
