Congrats!! Your pictures are beautiful and I loved the flowers and linens!  Are those real flowers?  Did you use the resort's florist or find someone in town whose prices are more reasonable?

    Thanks!

I wanted to share with you all the fabulous photos we received from our photographer, Eli Turner, of our 01/07/11 wedding!

I hope this is helpful as you all were in my planning process. Just as a recap, we had our wedding with the Beach Canopy and our reception at the Himitsu Terrace. We found that it was much easier to get married stateside and do a symbolic ceremony once we got there, so we didn't have to deal with all the paperwork. We went with Chair Bows, Linens, Centerpieces, Bouts and Single Flowers.

Hope this helps! If you ladies have ANY questions, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to help!

    I would do a full-fledged review.. but definitely don't have the time! ; )

    Best,

    Samantha

Our wedding was Dec 3, 2010 and we received our marriage certificate around 4 weeks after our wedding.  I used our "certificate" for everything though -- social security card, passport, driver's license, mortgage documents.  We had a Catholic ceremony so I am not sure if the civil ceremonies receive a certificate right then and there.

hi thank you for the info debbie.

I will add you to fb, thx.

I wanted to know did you have the whole terrace for your reception or just part of it?

was there room for dancing with 40 guests??

i wanted to get the dj, coz i wanted the annoucing, interactions, getting the guests out of thier seats etc, i know their price is expensive but i thought they will be there from 7-11 coz I think we are going to get the extra hour.

what foods did you pick for the ultimate package/gold,

        and were they good,

im having a hard time picking what menu items i want.

so far i have mushroom soup, chicken breast supreme, crab cakes and tirmisu,

did you have any of these or others you liked?

        what about the hor'dourves.

Would you mind sending me pictures of the centerpiece options?  I'm still debating what to do about them and whether I should consider contacting a local florist.  Thanks so much!

We are here now at Dreams, and the place is amazing! Food is really good, and our wedding Carolina has been great so far. Carolina greeted us when we were checking in and told us to meet her the next day for our planning meeting which took about 30 minutes. She basically went over everything we had emailed back and forth about and reconfirmed all the details. Tomorrow is the wedding so hopefully everything goes smoothly!

We leave in a week today and I am soo excited.  I am in the final stretch of getting everything ready to go.  I have myself and my daughter all packed up, I tell you packing for an infant for one week is not an easy task.  I have been going over all my lists to make sure I don't forget anything.  I think this is the more stressful part of all of it. How is everyones planning going ?
