Hey Melissa:

My name is Misty and I agree 100% with Nat, you will not need an outside WC, especially Luxe! I called them and they quoted me like $1500 to just help me pick out a resort and reserve rooms...booo!!! Any travel agent can do that, and since you have already picked DPC, you will be just fine working with any of the coordinators there. I noticed that you said you are planning for Spring 2010, I would encourage you to go ahead and reserve your date if you haven't so far to make sure it is still available.

My sister just finished my save the dates (that was one of my Christmas gifts!!) and we used vistaprint to do the printing, but we are doing everything else ourselves.

Elena,
There are a couple different cruise lines you can check out.

Here are two: 1 Wedding Punta Cana. The best Wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.. 2) vip travel dominican republic
The other one I can't remember the name of, but it's something with tropical in the name..
The best priced one seems to be the La baracaza though.
good luck!

I've been away for the past week visiting family so just wanted to wish everyone a belated Merry Christmas!!

It's only 4 weeks to the day to our wedding and I'm seriously in super excitement mode but also feeling totally unorganized. It's going to be a hectic month!!

Tam - what date do you leave for the DR??

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
