I am not sure if you all know about this already but there is a Facebook page for Dreams Punta Cana Brides. You can view tons and tons of wedding pictures from DPC. Also I plan on taking samples of other peoples pictures with me to show the photographer poses I want. With only 50 pictures in my package I dont want to end up with a bunch of cheesy poses that I hate. Anyway if you dont already know about it and are interested just search "Dreams Punta Cana Brides" on FB.

Also to Eliana, I just got an email from my WC a couple of weeks ago which includes the new table linens they offer. In my opinion they are way better than what they originally offered to me. Anyway in one of the pictures there is a table centerpiece my fiance and I really like. I am definitely not going to attempt traveling with centerpieces. I am trying to travel with as little as possible since we are going to NYC on the way back for a couple of nights which will require an extra suitcase of winter clothes! I'll email the picture to you shortly.
Hi Jackie, thank you for the pics!!! are these yours or they were sent to you by the WC?

hopefully you guys are planning on doing a TTD! if you do, we went to the right once we were on the beach because some photographer told us about this amazing beach that was down there. we didn't make it that far, but there are some really cool rock formations as long as you're wearing shoes you can walk on them in! for just beach pictures, going to the left is probably the best!

I finally got a little sneak peek of my bridal shower pics and can't wait to get all the pics from the photographer to post so you ladies can see.

My MOH, BM's, and Mommy threw me the best shower a girl could ask for. The had a pink/black damask theme with a cocktail hour feel.

Sparkling Events & Design turned it out! I felt like I was walking into someone's wedding reception! My sister is truly a genius and gifted at what she does and I am so blessed to say she is MY sister. I can't wait to see what she does with the wedding, bc I am close to not depending on them to do anything with my decor, lol.

She captured my vision and made it better than I could ever imagine.

I also had the honor of having Chiantia Crews do a photo shoot of the event and have been featured as part of her blog. Check out the sneak preview...more pics to come!

Nat, I couldn't believe how it turned out. It was actually in the clubhouse in my development, but she took alot of the furniture out and rented tables and did her thing with the decorations. So trust me, you can change any room around to make it FANTABULOUS!! LOL.

jenise, the closest thing i can think of to describe the color of my dress is champagne. it wasn't ivory and definitely wasn't white!

misty, holy crap.. that is the classiest shower i have ever seen! and the food looked to-die-for!! do you want to ship your sister out to cincinnati to help with my AHR? :)

Well, whatever color your dress was (lol) Erin, it was beautiful and very unique.

Misty...my Lord. I thought that was your wedding reception. Hahaha. Your sister did an amazing job! And what girl doesn't love a room full of pink! The food made me soooo hungry. Gotta go make a sandwich now. TTYL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
