Yeh my grandparents will be witnesses since there are not able to make it to the wedding

Hey Tam the new pricing is also in the new wedding guide they put up which say $40 extra person which is very different than the 2010 menu pricing she just gave all of us that says 32.50 per person.

oh and ladies I found the local florist if anyone is interested, I asked Deyanira and Sharron for this contact info 3 times and they always ignored the question and never answered it, my guess is because it will be way cheaper to go directly to the florist to get any flowers needed. :: Floristeria el Tronco :: its in spanish but if you email them they will be able to give you quotes, they understand english. There are pictures or bouquets centerpieces etc....

Hi ladies,

With a few of our weddings less than 6 weeks away I was really freaking out what I was reading!

FI and I booked the Dreams Ultimate back when we first booked it is a pretty good option. We have had the worst experience with our TA and she got fired! No one even called to tell us..grrrrrrr

We are having our reception on the beach and I am waiting to hear about being able to have music and dancing.

I stopped reading trip advisor...we went to Excellence in rivera maya last new years and i read nothing lots of bad...it was amazing though...I have to stay positive or else I will have a heart attack.

Are there any recent reviews from forum members?

I think it is best that you go ahead and contact your WC at Dreams and let them know what your expectations are and CONFIRM everything over email and make sure you print it out and take it with you, ex...time of wedding, final cost of wedding with your added guests, and make sure your room accomodations are right. I think you can relax a little bit. There is also a forum on Facebook for Dreams Punta Cana Brides with pictures that might help to confirm that you picked the right resort. Stay positive that everything will work out the way you want it, just remember to get everything in writing!

The $15 set-up applies to receptions on the beach and in the santo Domingo Ballroom, they do allow music in both, Deyanira told me the only place you can't have music is inside any resturant. I don't think there have been really any bad reviews as far as how the wedding part goes, I think all the stres is created by the WC's during the planning part lol.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
