I am planning on doing both on both hands and both feet, as I will be wearing a sari for one of my wedding outfits. I also plan to accessorize with a tikka/bindi, earrings, necklace, and bangles. And my dupatta/veil will be super elaborate to make up for the relatively simple sari design. I can't wait! Ebay has some nice stuff, but I had to search in the exotic dancer online stores; I know that sounds ghetto, but you can find some some unique jewelry pieces that can be made to be classy if accessorized well...with some clothes...that actually cover you wink.gif

thank you Frenchie! I ended up trying it on this weekend and love it again. It does look different on me than the model (in a good way)... I was sooo worried though. I will try to post pics.. my only problem is whenever I download pics on my laptop, the screensaver always goes to a slideshow of the pics, so then my FI could see it.. maybe I'll download and then erase it..

We are staying until the 26th so we should definitely grab a drink and I can give you a quick rundown on how things went! I'm so excited but also nervous because a lot of the planning isn't done until a few days before! I guess there are pros and cons to that too. We are doing the 4pm ceremony, figured it would be good to do before it gets dark. We are doing the ultimate package - using the onsite photographer. Is anyone else using the onsite photog? Am I crazy for not bringing my own? eeekkk!
absolutely!! the 25th maybe?? it's a sunday so hopefully nothing else will be going on. i'd loooove to hear all about how things went! i'm actually nervous about not having a ceremony rehearsal... i'm terrified my wedding party won't know what to do!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
