So, really, why send a faxed copy of the CC? I would much rather just take my card down there. They pretty much charge the cost of your wedding to your room so why go through the extra risk of sending CC info electronically?

Hey Ladies, I sent my credit card info in black n white and they told me they wouldn't confirm until they actually received the card in color, so finally I was able to get a good color copy and sent it over and they confirmed the date. they have not charge my card yet either and I was told by the WC and past brides DPC brides that they don't charge it until you get there anyways soo I didn't worry about it anymore. although it was very frustrating trying to get the color copy lol....

deyanira said you don't get charged until you get down there... they just need to have the card in case you cancel and they will charge you then.

i sent deyanira another email last week and still haven't heard back from her. i think i may have to resort to the nice "follow up" email here soon... i have no patience!

I think we are going to get married on the beach, but now I'm not so sure... I would like to wait and see once we get there.. I am now thinking why pay the extra $$ for a chuppah, when the gazebo is really nice (and free). We will be taking beach pics anyways so ...? NOt sure.

I am going to decide on where our reception is too once we get there... we are only having about 35 people so we could have it anywhere, but I would like to have it on the ocean ...

So indecisive right now..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
