Very excited as my FLOWERS FINALLY CAME THIS MORNING!!!!! YAY!

Now I can finally figure out my own bouquet etc.

Also, very proud of myself as I just worked out for the last 1.5 hrs.. cardio, weights and situps.. also am watching bulging brides.. good motivator

Thanks Toya.. I am starting to freak a bit though... suddenly seems to be real and happening... not just at the planning part anymore... things are really showing up at my door!smile29.gif

Tam, has Deyanira mentioned or given you the new 2010 buffet menu's yet ? She gave me the Dominican & Carribean theme buffet menu prices but I am awaiting the buffet menus with the regualr food choices ( I know that sounds weird) but there are 2 types of buffet menu's lol.....

Hello all!

 

I just wanted to say a quick hello! I got married last year in PC at Ocean Blue, but I'm posting here because my SIL is getting married this coming April at DPC! Her day is the 13th I believe. I can't wait to go back to the Dominican, and it's going to be just shy of our 2nd Anniversary, which is so great.

 

The weather up here has started to turn and I'm already dreaming of the white sand, blue ocean and steaming hot sun!

I LOVE THAT SHOW.
I'm in the usa now, and I will miss it, since it IS a great motivator! Oh well, I will see it when I go back!!

I only have the new menus for the different packages I think.. I never inquired about the buffet menus because we are only having 34 people including us..
I will check though, nope, I looked. I will let you know if I come across it though.
What's your guest count at?

Welcome fellow Canuck Debs!

There's a really nice vibe in this thread and tonnes of information. Make sure you check regularly though...blink and there will be mountains of threads to go through! How did you find Dominican Republic as a destination? Is it a place you would revisit on your own (i.e. even if it wasn't your sister's wedding)? I am having a hard time selling my FI on it. He is nervous about the beaches being not that great.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
