Hi all!

I am a Dreams bride-to-be but yet to be confirmed, we are looking at the end of June 2010!! :)) Very excited about this, it was our first choice and anfter running the list checking out others we decided that we would go where we REALLY wanted to go (which is Dreams!)

Just have a question for the ladies who have been there for their wedding or been involved in someone elses: what are the color choices for the bride's flowers and her bridesmaids? I have picked a mostly orange color scheme, and am wondering if orange flowers are an option, or will I have to go with a neutral color flower and bring orange ribbons to tie around them?

This forum is fantastic by the way, I am happy I have a place to ask questions and share ideas!! :)

Thanks Andrea, you were a big help with me making my decision :)

NSbride2010 - I just email Deyanira ( the WC at Dreams PC) and sked her for the flower choices they have, and if there is a local florist ? I will let you know what she says tomorrow. also you may want to book a date soon as when I booked my date they only had a few June 2010 dates left. my original date was June 12th but that was not available so i chose June 18th.

lrdavis23 - do you have your trip booked too? I am wondering about this! I am currently waiting for a TA to get back to me about pricing for the packages per person, so I think my hands are kind of tied for my date? Let me know what you have done, maybe this can help me move things along! I am looking for the last week of June and into July, and it's frustrating when some travel agents (SOME, not all) seem to be too laid-back for my liking, saying its too early... but then I see ladies like you who are confirming your dates?

Give me some advice on this one please ladies!! :)

Hi nsbride - I would make sure you get your date confirmation as soon as possible. Then you can work on booking your trip whenever you want. My wedding was in June and I had scheduled my date at the resort last August. We didn't book our trip until mid October and most of our guests booked in the following months. Just make sure you can get your date and then you can figure out the rest later. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
