I am getting really frustrated dealing with the wedding coordinators. My wedding is in a month and I just had a couple of questions and it is taking me weeks to get answer. sad.gif

The Wedding Coordinators really ARE that busy!!! You have to think they now have to accomodate all of the brides that are coming over from Mexico to have their wedding there. When i talked to the wedding coordinator she said she had over 150 emails in her inbox and over 80 voicemails. They are great wedding coordinators and i assure you that they are trying their best!

As I said before 8 other resorts are probably just as busy but had no problem responding in a timely manner. I feel your frustration ACH2009, especially since your wedding is so close. You should definitely be a priority!!!!!

I'm not trying to discredit the fact that the wedding coordinators are busy. I have been very patient throughout the entire process. I first booked my date last summer and all year long I have waited patiently to hear back from the coordinators. They led me to believe that as my wedding day drew closer I would hear from them more frequently so we could move forward with the planning process. So that is where my frustration is coming from. I was told to wait and we would get everything worked out and now when it's finally time for me to talk to them they don't have the time. I'm sure it will all work and will be fine. I would just like to get a few details worked out ahead of time.

i really hate to sound like a broken record, but i promise if you get in touch with "baltobabe" on the dreams forums she will get you in touch with a WC quickly. it's definitely important to get some of those last minute questions answered, so i will keep my fingers crossed for you!

actually, i take back what i just said... just saw on the dreams forum that they really are that busy right now.

while we're hoping you all get responses from the WCs soon, make sure you let us know if there are any questions or concerns you think the girls on here could help with!

Well I heard back from my new wedding coordinator last week but to be honest I have a feeling most of my questions/planning will have to wait until I get there. It seems to take a week to get a response so there's not much I can do but hope it all works out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
