I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the cocktail and dinner prices listed on the Dreams website are accurate? Dreams Punta Cana Resorts & Spas: Wedding Extras

It seems SO MUCH CHEAPER than their other resorts that I can't help but wonder if this is actually old Sunscape pricing? Does anyone know what the correct current prices are?

Hi DreamsBride09,

As a photographer, I always recommend to book the wedding ceremony at 3pm or 4pm. The best time for pictures is anytime after 3pm, I find 2pm is too early and the lighting is very harsh between 11am-3pm.

WOW, this post if very helpful thank you all.

Dreams is one of the options I am looking at for our DW. The pictures of the beach set up are beautiful and the pricing has also been helpful. I noticed a few of you had questions on the pricing. The biggest tip I can give from others is to have keep ALL documentation on pricing. Any final agreements, invoices etc. If you have something in black and white it is easier to stand firm on the final invoice. I've read that a lot of invoices will hike up the price. Having this information will allow you to argue/stand firm with them.

hey zoetwin! it probably depends on the time of year, but dreams i believe dreams is considered one of the more affordable resorts in PC. i see that your wedding date is only a few days after mine! through our TA we've gotten a few different prices for rooms during that time of year so far but not all the packages are out yet. based on what we've seen though, prices should be fairly comparable to what they are this year, especially with the economy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
