Hi Sherri, my email address is kwaller82@gmail.com.  Thanks in advance for the pics!  Being a control freak I'm starting to freak out about how everything is going to look w/ out being able to see it before hand.

Thanks again, and congrats!

Hi guys!! I just came across this thread and this has to be the greatest thing ever! I'm getting married here November 16th, and was startingHi guys!! I just came across this thread and this has to be the greatest thing ever! I'm getting married here November 16th, and was starting to get nervous as I have so many questions and the language barrier thing makes it a bit hard.
Right now I'm contemplating whether or not to have the cocktail hour. Do you guys think its worth it? Or do you think that you could go without it, and the guests could just go to the bar? It just seems a bit ridiculous paying 11$/person for an hour of food and drinks at an all-inclusive resort.. Also just wondering if anyone knows what is included in the 450$ for gazebo decor.. That seems a bit steep too, when you can buy chair covers and sashes for so cheap here!

I got married at the end of January and I trashed my dress or as the photographer likes to call it " rock the dress" here are some pics. Its just salt water doesnt hurt and the sand. we just got buckets of water to pour on the dress after to get rid of the sand then i just let it dry on my balcony for the night and it was perfect!!IMG_0956.jpg

I've just discovered that it is much more justifiable to use an outside photographer.  We are looking for someone who is already situation in PC. Also, I was just wondering if their are any other brides-to-be getting married on May 25th,2012??

Thanks so much ladies,

Erika:)

Hi Raq

I'm getting married exactly 10 days after you!

I was contemplating the cocktail hour also. I may consider it once I have my final numbers. Since we only get 3 hours for the reception though it might be a good idea to have the cocktail hour, otherwise if you wanted to add another hour to the reception it's an exta $10pp.

The chair covers they provide, but I will be buying all my sashes here since its so easy to transport. If you're on facebook, find the dreams punta cana link. A lot of pictures are posted there! Hope this helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
