Hello Girls! I imagine everyone is planning, planning because the forum has been so quiet lately.

Update regarding our wedding:

  • Father Jean Lacaille emailed us back, all of our church paperwork is set, and so we couldnâ€t be happier that it is all set! It took us forever to get all set, as we had to wait for some papers to come from my church in Argentina
  • All appointments for the hair/make up are set and schedule with Dreams. Iâ€m working with Laura from the Spa directly, but Carolina had told me that she could set up the appointments if needed, but I already had set up everything with Laura.
  • Our flowers have been orders from http://www.wedideas.com/and they should arrive at the end of this month. We ordered bouquets for me and bridesmaids, Boutonnieres for my FI, Best Man/Groomsmenand fathers. As well as corsages for both of our mothers.
  • Table runners arrived on Thursday and they are simply amazing!
  • I ordered my BD book from Kodak Gallery, I hope FI loves itelefant.gif!
  • Regarding the resort, Iâ€ve been in touch with Carolina detailing the event, we decided on the menu (Gold) added a cocktail reception, added an extra hour for the event, as well as extra champagne for the entire evening. She also emailed us pictures for the color tablecloth and chair sashes available, I will post them below for all of you to know what they have available right now.
  • We also organized a trip to Saona Island for our group, which is optional and each guest is responsible for the trip. Basically in our welcome package we are telling them that we doing the trip on certain day and they are more than welcome to join us if they would like, and that they need to contact the concierge directly. I have this set up as well with the concierge at Dreams in that way we our guests call they are aware that they are part of our group. Iâ€m working with Elvira from Dreams, she is Chief Concierge.

I think thatâ€s pretty much it for this week… A bit crazy but I love it! cheer2.gif Lol pICTURE 2.jpgPicture 3.jpgSlide1.JPGSlide2.JPGSlide3.JPGPicture1.jpg

I didn't ask her as I was just looking for the chair sashes options. You should email your WC and ask.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
