Deyanira was fantastic, and my god are they ever busy here, ALL THE TIME! I will answer to any questions you have, so post them here and/or send me an email natashanaugle@hotmail.com

By the way, I got married on the beach! cheesy.gif I am beyond happy with my choice, by the way. They did a good job of clearing out people that were too close, but it wasn't private for sure! I didn't even notice if people walked in behind us during the ceremony, I was too wrapped up in what was going on :) By the way, I HIGHLY recommend the huppah! Not only did it look WAY, WAY better, but while DH and his groomsmen were waiting for us to arrive they took shelter under the canopy from the sun. We had a minor misunderstanding about the decoration of the huppah... I told her orange flowers, and then realized that it was the decorations for $350... so I quickly corrected her. When I got to the beach, I had some decorations on the huppah and I thought ''oh no, what will this cost us now, or will we have to fight it'' but when we received our bill today, they only charged us $175. So I wonder if she made a compromise because she made the mistake? They put orange and white flower petals down just before I walked down the ''aisle'', which made my Daddy cry... haha

Before I go, I should mention that La Barcaza was one of the best decisions we made the whole trip! We would have liked to have it for one more hour though, so if you have the extra $250 in your budget to add it on (if you do La Barcaza) then definitely do it.

I look forward ot hearing from you ladies!
Congrats Nat!!! I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful pictures! I'm sure you're happy and sad that the wedding planning is finally over! I'm glad everything fell into place!

So glad you had an awesome time Nat. Have a safe trip back. Time flies when you're having fun but at least you'll have beautiful pictures to look back on.

Misty, they still haven't responded to you? I'm shocked. Don't freak out love. I'm sure everything will be just fine.

Toya, welcome back and congrats again. Is it a relief to have all your parties done? I wanna see wedding and AHR pics when you have the time to breathe. lol

I just had my Lingerie Bridal Shower on Saturday and I must say, it was amazing. Decided to do the lingerie shower because tomorrow is my BD shoot with Jen (freaking out on the inside). I'll post pics of the shower ASAP! Cause we're all picture whores here. lol. And I say that with the upmost respect of course.

It's now all starting to feel REAL. 1 1/2 months to go! :)

Hey Ladies, I'm still waiting to hear back from the wedding coordinator but maybe some of you could help me out.

I am just wondering if it is possible to get a few veggi options for those non meat eater guests. We are planning on getting the silver dinner menu but will need to substitute a few for those veggi. Anyone have any info regarding this.

I am also wondering about the option of hanging paper lanterns on the pergola above the bordeaux terrace.

Thanks Ladies

Now with 1 month left to go, I thought they would have emailed me with a assigned coordinator and just confirm things. Am I being crazy smile43.gif

I wondered if they have a lit up dancefloor or just a regular one and if we chose to go with the DJ there, can we just provide him with the CD's of the songs we know we want played. This was a main concern bc if it's not worth it, I was going to book DJ Mannia, but I'm afraid my date is probably gone by now with him. Did you use DJ Mannia? If so, how was he?

I'm just stressed....
girl you have my number just call me lol.......

and for any other brides that have questions I can answer them, just post or send me a PM and I can answer then quicker than I can get my review up lol....

Hey SMTC they do allow you pick veggie options for certian guest , all you do is tell them in your planning meeting who those guest are and they will take care of it. they also allow you to hang lanterns on the bordeux terrace and the el patio terrace.

Excellent LrDavis thank you very much it is so hard to plan when you haven't heard back from the wedding coordinators. I am a ways away from the wedding but it is nice to be able to give your guests some information.

In other news my FI and I officially booked our trip today. We found a deal that we just could not pass up so we just went for it. We will be at the resort from February 13-20 and we managed to get direct flights both ways which was a must since we have a little girl and didn't want to be changing plans with her and all of our stuff.

I haven't heard back from Carolina yet. I emailed her a few days ago asking what is the latest we can end the dinner/dance at the Bordeaux terrace as we would like to pay for the extra hours and have the terrace for dancing as long as we can...

Have you heard back from her? what's going on with your whole situation? I hope they find you a solution..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
