nat, i'm not sure about the seating 15 people together. i would hope that for a "reception" they would make an exception, but that may not be the case. (sweet deal with the shoes too.. i'm sure they will look amazing!)

clay, i definitely recommend checking with the resort about this. or maybe someone already has? welcome to the forum though!! we're glad to have you!

toya, your dress is gorgeous!!! good for you for going with your gut and getting your dream dress! you don't want to just be satisfied with your wedding dress!

Welcome Clay and Terri!

Nat, you're so lucky to get your hands on Christian Louboutins. I'm dying for a pair but can't bring myself to spend $500-$1000 on a pair. I totally have a shoe fetish and would love to have a pair in my collection. Maybe someday sad.gif lol

Toya and Jennifer, thanks for your response about the vows. I think I'm gonna go with heartfelt "speeches-toasts" at our sit down dinner.

Erin, right around the corner for you huh? It's so exciting! I'd love to see how great your flowers came out.

As far as my planning goes, I've kinda hit a plateau. I feel like there is so much to do and not enough time to get it all done. Hopefully, with the long weekend next week, I'll be able to get more things done.

My biggest accomplishments with the wedding planning in the last 3 weeks or so is buying Luggage Tags and adding the business cards that I had made on VistaPrint. We collaborated on a funny saying that says, " We love being married, It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life " (it's funny and kinda true so we loved it) I've also decided to change my wedding colors based on a bouquet I saw on wedideas.com (LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink orchid bouquet) exactly what I've always wanted. And lastly, I ordered my Philadelphia Eagles garter set. FI will be so suprised and love it. Something different and fun to add to the wedding as I don't want it to be super stiff or super traditional.

Now, I know I've hardly gotten anything done, so wish me luck ladies and Clay (lol) that I can be more productive in the coming weeks.

Have a great weekend. TGIF!

I asked Deyanira this same questions as I LOVE orchids. She said they didn't have pink/fuscia ones like I wanted but they did have white ones. She said she could dye them pink if I wanted to but I just don't think it has the same affect. Hope this helps.

Hi girls!

We did printing (using a laser printer so they didn't smudge) on a clear label. It was nice because any errors could be found and repaired easily. I would have LOVED to hand write each one, but I just didn't have the time...plus I'm dyslexic, so I didn't order that many extra envelopes hehehe...

I think we paid about $10 for the labels at Staples. Quick and easy... :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
