Hey Jennifer!

What a creative idea. Really nice things on Etsy!

Welcome Allie!!

So this week, I have my martial status papers notarized, got all of the groomsmen suits and started packing my bags! Is it too soon? I just want to make sure I don't leave anything behind! lol

I have been having some wedding nightmares lately, anyone else? lol mostly about little things like forgetting something, or someone not arriving at the airport in time... I hope they stop soon! lol

Hey ladies: I know I have been gone for a minute, but needed time to get things done and not get so frazzled over everything.

And yes I had a dream: That I was marrying someone else, LMAO! It was the Toronto, Canada star Drake!!! LOL. But no bad nightmares. I hope they pass soon for you ladies.

Update on me:

I did exactly what Toya did and went looking at dresses again and I am about to have 2 dresses in my closet sad.gif I am going to try to sell the other one (I think), bought my shoes and veil and I have my first makeup consultation the morning of my bridal shower (April 24th) so let's hope she knows what she's doing!

OK toodles for now, I am going to go back and read the last 10 pages to keep up with you girlies!!

Hey All,

Wow, a lot of nightmares going around lately huh? Lol. I had a nightmare 2 weeks ago that I totally missed my wedding. I mean, slept right through it. sad.gif Needless to say, I woke up in a deep sweat and crying.

I'm glad to hear that everyone is still in planning mode or at least getting back into it.

Is anyone here writing their own vows? Wondering if we should during the ceremony or just make some sort of speech during our dinner. Any opinions or inputs?

You started packing your bags?? wow! thats impressive actually ;-)
Thank u Jennifer! I feel crazy though lol

I'm actually having two civil ceremonies. The first being in NYC, since my grandmother can't travel and then the second at DPC. As for the papers, you're supposed to get them translated into Spanish by the Dominican Consulate. Once that is complete, Deyanira asked me to send it via email attachment.

I've been having CRAZY nightmares. The first was that I left my dress in the states and another one was that I fell down the stairs as I was walking towards the wedding ceremony!!smile27.gif Just horrible!! lol

All my fiance is "dreaming" about is his bachelor party and the honeymoon. Must be nice!

So I really want to do a sand ceremony, especially because I want to incorporate our son into the wedding, and this would be a great way to do so. However, I CANNOT figure out how I'm going to do this, AND get the vase with the sand home without it spilling or all of the colors mixing up.

Anyone else doing this? What is your plan?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
