I used them for my wedding and would definitely use them again. I used MAC. I few tips: Have someone with you who is comfortable helping you apply. None of my girls ever used them, and so I applied myself which was kind of hard. 2) Make sure you check your lashes RIGHT after your ceremony if you think that you'll be crying. One of mine started coming off after the ceremony from crying. Luckily, I fixed before anyone really noticed. Good luck!

i used mac (#10 i think), and had the girl at the salon put them on me. the only bad thing was the glue. it was like elmers, but didn't dry clear. so when the girl put black eyeliner on my top lids, it looked gray..i dont think anyone noticed.

the good thing is that they stayed in thru 3 jumps in the pool. then i pulled them off and my mom wore them on her cheeks.

I wear fake eyelashes all the time. I also recommend the MAC lashes, but I have also had luck with the drugstore brands after I trimmed them to fit me.

What I do HIGHLY recommend is getting yourself Duo eyelash glue. It is the same glue that MAC sells available at the drugstore. (I worked for Nordstrom for 10 years and can vouch for that). It comes in 2 formulas one that dries clear and one that dries black. The black version is great if you are going to to wear black eyeliner anyway.

I find the easiest way to apply them is to use an orange wood stick (the wood sticks that manicurists use). It helps to get in those spaces that are hard for fingers to fit. Use extreme caution though, you don't want to hurt yourself. Also, make sure to put eyelash glue in your emergency wedding kit.

hehe I like #10's and #7's.. did you pull your eyelashes out with the fake ones?! I'm always worried I'll be eyelash bald lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
