Eyelash Extensions *post ALL info here*

I just had some lash extensions done at Noir Lash Lounge. I wanted to test them out for the wedding. I wanted to be able to go mascara-free on the beach while having a little extra length for the big day. They cost me $75 and they're supposed to last for 2 months. It's been 1 week and only 1 lash has fallen out and they still look great! I would highly recommend them! I'll be getting a new, fuller set right before I leave for Mexico.

Thanks! I brought the lashes and glue and they put it on for me. They may even have glue but I didn't ask.

Lashes are a must!!!  I started wearing them a couple months ago on the weekends just as a little something extra!  I get so many compliements on them and may people do not know they are falsies!!  I purchased mine at Target.  Ardell style #109 for about $6!!  The glue comes with some of the sets.  I love the style so much I found more on ebay, 50 pair for $20.  I split them with a friend who told me about them.  I know I will be wearing false lashes for the wedding just not sure if I want to use the same ones I have been using or get extensions.  I have heard that you cannot wear mascara with the extensions.  Is this true?

Thanks!

The Ardell line has lashes in Brown, which may work better for you.  Watch the glue though because most dry black and will be like a very thick line of eye liner.  msnwink.gif

I had purchased clear glue which might work better for you.

Mine are super blonde, and I have had both temporary lashes and extensions - all in black-black. Neither looked weird at all. The falsies are so much more dramatic that your other lashes just seem to blend in. That being said, I wear mascara with the temporary ones, so they arent blonde when I have them on. With the extentsions I went without mascara a lot though, and you couldnt tell. I got a ton of compliments from those who knew I had them on how real they looked.

You can wear mascara with both the semi-perm and the daily. The semi perm you don't want to wear waterproof mascara with, as it loosens the glue bond and can make them fall out quicker. Otherwise they just fall off with the natural shedding of your lashes in about 3 weeks. I just skipped the mascara when I was swimming (you don't need it with them), and then used it at night. I think if you were afraid of crying at the wedding, you could probably use the waterproof for one day (or just on the bottom lashes and skip it on the top) and not worry to much about it. those suckers stay on pretty well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
