We splurged a little and bought our guests coffee to take home (small 2oz bags) for $4 each. Also a big hit!

That's great to know, Jenn. I didn't plan on doing shirts, but if I see cute ones at that great price, I may change my mind once I'm there.

Lizz - I have no idea the name of the stores, but we saw that price in Mo Bay at a few places and in Negril. I'm sure its the same in OR :)

thanks to everyone who has posted here...
my FI came up with the idea of getting dry erase boards instead of notepad & pen for everyone's door and communication among the group

here is what we included (I think this is everything...):
          welcome letter
          dove chocolates
          alka-seltzer
crystal light individual flavor packets (hotel gives bottled water in every room)
          emergen-c (energy/immune booster)
          custom bookmark
          chap stick
sunscreen (little travel tube from target $1)
          pack of eclipse gum
          travel candle and matches
          pashmina for the ladies
          cigar for the men

bolded items are the ones that people commented on the most. Pashminas were a very big hit. I bought three colors and let the ladies choose their own.
Bre, I love the simple paper bags! I saw someone else on here use them for her OOT bags and it looked really classy, honestly, I wouldnt reuse a bag with someone's wedding info on it either! If I had a big wedding I would use really nice brown shopping bags. But I am doing nylon bags from LLBean with each couple's initials monogrammed on it.

The main thing my guests used were the travel mugs (every day at the pool), the bag itself to carry things down to the pool and beach, the first aid kit (unfortunately LOL), and the guys had a ball playing with the frisbees I got, oh and the Shout wipes got used quite a bit aswell.

            My bags included:
            travel mugs
            semi-homemade first aide kit
            frisbee
            lotion
            travel scope
            travel toothpaste
            shout wipes
            kleenex

            I think that is it...

Ok... I just thought of another thing my guests used... we made CD's with some island music. Every room at our hotel had a CD player, and everyone loved them!

For any Canadians out there...if you look in the summer time, Superstores carry travel mugs for $1.00. Just an FYI.
                      Sweeettt!! Thanks for the tip!!
