Hi,

I just had a meting at Cabo Azul with Sergio, he's a great person, with over 10 years experience in the wedding business in Cabo, he knows what he's doing! It was my first visit and I'm very impressed, the hotel is just beautiful, although it's still under construction part of it, the part that is finished is just amazing, very different from the rest of the hotels in Cabo, a refreshing concept from what I'm used to down here, in terms of photo, it has some beautiful features and the architecture is just fab! Very spacious not only the public areas, but the rooms and in general. The concept of the open chapel is great, large and with a gorgeous view overlooking the gorgeous pool area and beach or the wide and generous beach, you cannot miss! It has a fantastic roof terrace ideal for cocktails, again, overlooking the pool/beach area.

Totally recommended.

Curious to see when the construction is set to be complete? I have emailed Sergio about this and am just waiting for a response. I will be seeing this property this weekend on Saturday so I will be able to get a better sense of how things will run for a wedding function. Do you have any clue as to whether or not all of the facilities will be up and running by October?

Hi fellow Cabo peeps!

I am really excited about Cabo Azul. Sergio is great - although we've only chatted through email and phone! I just started making arrangements with him in December and it's been hassle-free. He is very prompt in answering AND explaning my millions-of-questions; which makes me feel really comfortable and reassured.

Can anyone give me any tips you may have already received from Sergio or any other brides interested in Cabo Azul? I would appreciate any and all tips. Thanks a bunch!thewave.gif

I am going tomorrow for a site visit for our wedding in November and we are coming from the east coast so -- yes it is a pain in the butt to get everyone over to Cabo; however I think the destination speaks for itself. I will give feedback once I return on Monday night.

Sergio so far has been a pleasure to work with. I am a corporate event planner so I know good quality work when I am working with someone like this. He is very proacative and is quick to get the responses you need. I'll see how everything goes this weekend. I found out that construction is set to be complete with facilities open by October 2008!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
