I was going to buy those from wildthings but I read a review that said they are actually really flimsy disks. Kinda cheap looking. FYI.

I bought two curtains from Cost Plus World Market. They were kinda expensive, but they did have brown and white versions on sale for $17. I had to buy the white ones- you know, it was my vision.

Hopefully they make it back in one peice, because I will be willing to sell them to a BTB. I didn't realize there was this much interest in them or I would have shared all of my searching. I searched for capiz strands for a long time!

How much did you end up paying? I am going to check their site right now. and if they come back in one piece and I can wait long enough, I would totally buy them from you!

$35 each. I thought they were actually $17each when I lugged them up to the register. They had a sign that said "tortoise capiz shells 50%" and I couldn't find any of the capiz shells that were labeled "tortoise." They also have REALLY pretty turquoise ones Carly but I think they were $35 each too!

Yeah, I am checking them out now... I wanted white also, and I only see the blue or tortoise... I will continue the hunt. I am nervous of the plastic ones, but it may end up being what I buy

They also had these. I thought about buying a couple and hang them from the corners of the chuppah if I decided I couldn't afford the whole curtain. I thought they were cute.
