      If you are getting legally married in DR you have to be there at least 48 hours prior to your wedding date. That's a legal requirement. However, if you are getting legally married at home first... that requirement would not apply to you. :)

        Thanks for posting all of this info. I had emailed Nora at the end of Dec/Jan but she has hardly replied to me at all. There are still a hundred questions I have for her but she hasn't responded to me.

            The symbolic ceremony is sounding much better these days. But now I just have to convince my FI to agree to it. Thanks for sharing!

              Really? When I contacted Nora, she usually responds to me in like 48 hrs. That is how I finally got Ruth to contact me back, lol!

Please remember that this is a new resort and kinks are still trying to be worked out, so everyone is entitled to their opinion, so keep an open mind. Enjoy!

                    people are really fixated on the open bathrooms hey? i think they look fine, it's not like you can see people on the toilet or taking a shower, it's just the vanity area. geez
